The other day the Captain and I headed out to the boat. We walked down the deck into the yard and noticed that my favorite hydrangeas, the Annabelles, were in full bloom. I have 4 of these bushes and the blossoms are always magnificent. Just so full and lush...I just love them!

Looking back at the garden we noticed everything looks so green from all the rain. One advantage to getting a lot of moisture is the wonderful effect it has on the garden and the grass.

took the launch out to the Carol Ann.....

Looking through the window to the bow of the boat, watching the burgee blowing in the breeze.

Such a perfect summer day, people were out sailing, there was a nice breeze, blue sky, sunshine, a few clouds...it was really nice.

Looking back towards the town hall we saw a bunch of kids in small sailboats rafted together having fun, swimming off their boats, happily enjoying the beautiful day.

Another nice sailboat was heeling way over as it went whipping by us having a wonderful sail.

Here is the Captain, enjoying the day, sitting in front of the ensign, taking in the beautiful view of Marblehead harbor and ready to start the engines and take us off somewhere fun for the afternoon.

And we are off...we're free of the mooring and the Captain has the engines going and has headed her out of the harbor. The plan is to head over towards Beverly and have a picnic somewhere, pick up a mooring or just throw in an anchor and sit and enjoy the view.
At any rate, we are off to enjoy this perfect summer day.
bye!

I have my summer must haves and tips. But what are yours? Maybe I can learn something new, or pick up something to add to mine. I mean beauty tips, styles you have to have in the summer, make-up, beauty products. Anything you love during the summer :) It can even be music!

Why are some days in summer hotter than others?
I know about the Axis and how there is winter and summer, but why are some days in summer say 30c and other days 40c.
