The Secret of Happiness...

The secret of happiness is liking what you do. If you have the passion for something, feel the love, the dedication, no matter what it is, you will find happiness as you do it. Having that passion for art makes me happy. I look forward each day to creating new designs or completing existing projects. Sometimes I get so excited for what I am working on that I cannot sleep, I cannot wait to get up and finish painting the design or developing the new product line. So, enjoy what you do each and every day. Feel the love and have the passion and you will find that having that positive attitude will be so good and make you feel so happy. Carol, I love this happy little design! You're right... the energy is so different when I love what I'm working on. It can definitely interrupt my sleep. I have been known to paint or actually choose colors in my dreams. Then I can't wait to get up and get to it!

I've always said, "Do What you Love" and painted a sign that says so and hung it in my studio :-) I LOVE being an artist and can't possibly imagine being anything else (except maybe a rich artist).
